Grant Information

We fund new, creative and innovative programs which enhance the curriculum.

Keep in mind the following general parameters for all SHPSF Grants:

  • SHPSF funds new and innovative ideas.  Once a program has been funded two years in a row by SHPSF, it is no longer eligible for a SHPSF Grant. We believe that by the third year, a program has become an integral part of the curriculum, therefore funding for that program should be sourced from either the District and/or each site’s Parent Group.
  • We do not fund capital improvements.
  • Swanson Library Grants automatically provide $1500 to each school site library annually.  Other than this Grant, SHSPF generally does not fund classroom libraries.  Connect with your site librarian for any specific requests to use the Swanson Grant funds.
